FDGC Roundtable and Informational Open House
April 10, 2001
5:30p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Open to all conference attendees and the public

On Wednesday, April 10th, there will be an educational forum and roundtable from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Representatives from the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FDGC), USGS National Mapping Program, state and local policy makers, and the Montana Geographic Information Council (MGIC) will be participating.  This meeting wil include a no host social and an address by Brian Wolf, Montana's Chief Information Officer (CIO).  Additionally, the FGDC will provide presentations on several important federal GIS initiatives such as the National Map, I-Teams, and GeoSpatial One-Stop.

There will also be an open house poster session and information sharing with members of the MT GIS Users' Group (MTGIS), Montana Local Government GIS Coalition (MLGGC), MT State Library Natural Resource Information System (NRIS), MT Interagency Technical Working Group (ITWG) and ID URISA.  Vendors will also be available.
