For room reservations please contact Central Reservations and name "Big Sky GeoCon" as the group.

You may reach the reservations office at 406-892-2525 or toll free: 844-868-7474. Reservations can be made Monday-Friday 8 am 5 pm MST.

The group rate does not apply to guests/individuals who have already set up their reservation or who have booked through a third party.

Group rate starts at $132/plus tax and $12 amenity fee/room/night for standard room.

Note: The room block with expire on March 14. Any bookings made after that date will be based on availability.

Booking/Cancellation Policy for Hotel Rooms

A credit card needs to be put on file at the time of booking.
Cancellations made outside 72 hours prior to arrival –a $30 cancellation processing fee.
Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival or less – will be charged for the entire stay that was booked.
No-shows on date of arrival will be charged for the entire stay that was booked.
Full payment due at time of check out.
If a guest who has reserved a room within the block checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, an early departure fee of $30.00/day will be charged to that guest's individual account.

Conference Registration Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to Michelle Quinn, MAGIP Administrator. Cancellations made by March 20, 2026, may be issued a full refund. Cancellations made after this time will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to a minimum $100 cancellation fee. "No shows" forfeit entire registration fee.

Note for Presenters: Notification of presentation acceptance will be on or before February 11, 2026. Accepted presenters will be expected to register for at least one day of the conference unless only attending to present.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

John Nelson is a map maker, software experience designer, and writer at Esri creating fringe geographic data, curious web experiences, marginally educational blogs, and debatably instructional videos. He works in a small woodshed in Michigan and relishes the opportunity to chat with other map folks.
